Trauma can show up in our lives in unexpected ways. Sometimes, it’s loud and obvious; other times, it hides quietly, making it harder to see—but easier to feel. It often takes the body hostage, creating a disconnect between mind and body, leaving you feeling “off” or stuck

Trauma Touch Therapy™: A Gentle Path to Healing

What is Trauma Touch Therapy™?

TTT is a body-centered, noninvasive therapy designed to help release trauma stored in the body. It focuses on creating a sense of safety and awareness without overwhelming the nervous system. Unlike traditional massage, which targets muscles, or psychotherapy, which focuses on emotions, TTT bridges the gap between mind and body to help you feel whole again.

This is a Professional Therapeutic Service
Let’s be clear: this is a strictly professional therapeutic service. I provide a safe, respectful, and compassionate environment dedicated to healing.

If you’re looking for anything other than professional bodywork focused on trauma healing, please do not contact me. My practice maintains zero tolerance for inappropriate behavior, and any attempt to violate these boundaries will result in immediate termination of services, and, if necessary, notification of the proper authorities.

Who Can Benefit from Trauma Touch Therapy™?

Trauma Touch Therapy™ (TTT) is designed for individuals who feel the lingering effects of trauma in their bodies, even when the mind has tried to move forward. Trauma can manifest in various ways—both physical and emotional—and can affect anyone, regardless of age, background, or life experience.

TTT offers a gentle, body-centered approach to healing, making it especially beneficial for those who:

1. Individuals Experiencing Physical Effects of Trauma Trauma often becomes stored in the body, leading to physical symptoms such as:

  • Chronic tension or muscle pain.
  • Unexplained fatigue or low energy.
  • Headaches, migraines, or digestive issues.
  • Sensitivity to touch or physical discomfort.

TTT provides a noninvasive way to release this stored tension and ease physical discomfort without overwhelming the body.

2. People Who Feel Disconnected from Their Body

Many trauma survivors experience dissociation—a feeling of being disconnected from their body or surroundings. You may feel numb, detached, or as if you’re living on “autopilot.” Trauma Touch Therapy™ helps:

  • Re-establish a sense of presence and embodiment.
  • Reconnect with physical sensations in a safe, controlled manner.
  • Develop a greater sense of control over your body and emotions.

3. Those Struggling with Anxiety, PTSD, or Emotional Overwhelm

Trauma-related conditions like anxiety, post-traumatic stress disord**er (PTSD), and emotional overwhelm can leave you feeling on edge or hyper-alert. Traditional talk therapy may help, but sometimes the body holds on to trauma even after emotional healing begins.

TTT offers a complementary approach by:

  • Calming the nervous system through breathwork and grounding techniques.

  • Helping you recognize and manage physical symptoms of anxiety or panic.

  • Providing tools to stay grounded during triggering situations.

4. Survivors of Physical, Emotional, or Sexual Trauma

Survivors of abuse—whether physical, emotional, or sexual—often carry trauma deeply within their bodies. Touch, even when well-intentioned, can feel overwhelming or unsafe.

TTT offers a respectful, client-led approach that:

  • Honors your boundaries and comfort levels.
  • Reintroduces safe, noninvasive touch in a healing context.
  • Empowers you to reclaim your body and sense of autonomy.

5. People Seeking a Complement to Psychotherapy

If you’re currently working with a psychotherapist, Trauma Touch Therapy™ can be a powerful complement to your emotional healing. While psychotherapy focuses on processing thoughts and emotions, TTT addresses the physical manifestations of trauma. Together, these modalities can offer a more holistic healing experience. It is important to note here, that while some conversation is needed and encouraged to process, I am not a psychotherapist and that is out of my scope of practice.

6. Individuals Dealing with Chronic Stress or Burnout

Even if you haven’t experienced a specific traumatic event, chronic stress can have a similar impact on the body, leading to tension, fatigue, and emotional exhaustion.

TTT can help:

  • Release stress that has accumulated in the body.
  • Restore a sense of calm and balance.
  • Rebuild your energy and resilience over time.

7. People Who Want to Cultivate Greater Self-Awareness

Trauma Touch Therapy™ isn’t just about addressing pain—it’s also about building a deeper connection with yourself. Through body awareness, grounding techniques, and mindful touch, you can develop a greater understanding of your body’s signals and needs.

This can lead to:

  • Increased self-compassion and acceptance.
  • Improved emotional regulation and resilience.
  • A more joyful and embodied experience of life.

Who Might Not Be a Fit for Trauma Touch Therapy™?

While TTT can be a powerful tool for many, it may not be the right fit for everyone. It may not be suitable if:

  • You are seeking a traditional massage focused on muscle tension or relaxation.

  • You are looking for a substitute for psychotherapy or medical treatment.

  • You are uncomfortable with body-based modalities or touch, even in a controlled, safe environment.

If you’re unsure whether Trauma Touch Therapy™ is right for you, we can start with a conversation to explore your needs and goals.
